My goal as an editor is to focus, tighten, and polish your work by eliminating errors and querying any issues. I'm here to help you put your best copy forward without losing that which makes your writing unique. I edit for grammatical and punctuation errors, style and usage issues, spelling mistakes, typos, factual errors, and inconsistencies or awkwardness of formatting or language — all while respecting your voice and tone and keeping in mind your audience.

 What do I edit?

I copyedit manuscripts (fiction and nonfiction, adult and children’s), academic papers and theses, articles or blogs, website copy, marketing materials, publicity materials, e-newsletters, resumes, and anything else that could benefit from the sharp eyes of a professional copy editor.

 How do I edit?

I generally edit in Microsoft Word (using “Track Changes”) or Adobe Reader (using the “PDF Annotator” feature), but I can also edit within a CMS or using other software.
